As an Innovative Training Programme, the focus lies in the joint training of the 15 early stage researchers (ESRs). This ITN provides not only scientific training in different areas such as control, communications etc. but also provides the researches with a set of personal and transferable skills. The researchers also have the chance to work on a personal career development plan and to pursue trainings that suit his / her mid-term and longer term professional goals.

The scientific trainings in different areas strengthens the interdisciplinary knowledge of the researchers. Also, the young researchers will gain relevant insights in the industrial applicability of research through industry / academia partnerships and secondments at industrial beneficiaries. Another focus lies in international exchange and mobility between different parties in Europe.

Quality and innovation aspects of the training program

The oCPS program has five training objectives that are translated into three categories of target skills: scientific, personal and transferable skills.
